Apparently it's mating season already, 'cause the birds down by the lakes are being chased. (And I do mean birds - as in the feathery winged things) It's hilarious because the fat ones wobble dangerously when they run, and are pretty much adorable.

The first so-bad-it's-good movie I've seen in ages: The World Sinks Except For Japan. Though slightly bordering on so-bad-it's-just-plain-bad, it's funny enough if you're multitasking, so that you won't be bothered by the nonexistent plot or atrocious acting, and just have a good laugh.

Believers and non-believers, I'm sure many of you have already read these, but

cleolinda's recap of Breaking Dawn is bloody amazing. You can tell by the recaps that it's an awesome awesome book, and although my usual policy has been don't knock it til you've tried it, I think it can be waived this once for the Twilight series.
