gosh. this tv show is so emo
there are a couple of things.
1. the mouse on this computer refuses to work. it drives me insane just tabbing all over the place, because lj is really hard to navigate like that.
2. chinana is filled with fun things and food. i feel really fat, but entertained. there is no snow yet, as it has been an unusually warm winter, but i have not given up hope.
3. mum just walked in with a hot pan full of vinegar. apparently this will help with germ-killing. i am skeptical, but a) i'm not sick, and would like to keep it that way and b) i really like vinegar.
4. i miss summer :\ i also miss everyone currently stuck in summer. no one awesome is ever on msn anymore. this makes me sad. though, if people give me their mobile numbers i could possibly sms them.
5. christmas! chinese people just use it as an excuse to go out and have fun. dinner last night was incredibly satisfying. i wish that they'd stop playing christmas carols on repeat in supermarkets, though.
6. my mum's family is clearly insane.
7. my dad's family is even more insane.
8. i need to upload some of these photos.
9. i have shiny paid account! and iconspace. thanks to kathy. who will be leaving me for SIX MONTHS next year, whoring herself off to hot canadians. i eye her. her and her shiny trip.
10. did i mention that my family is insane?
11. my cousin has started working for the ioc. this intrigues me. a lot.
day -1 i spot simone on the plane! She was sitting 3 seats away from me, off to japanland for a week. it's a small world.
day 1 chinese restaurants in brisbane are crap compared to the real thing.
day 2 the first day that i started realising just how insane my family really was. my grandma is like a child.
day 3 gosh, the tv channels. so much to watch, so little time.
day 4 this day is sorta fuzzy. we went to stay at ioc!cousin's place, because my grandma was being insane, as she does. internet access!
day 5 lunch at where ioc!cousin had her wedding just last month. actually, she had four weddings, 'cause she entered some tv competition and got to have 3 of them free. >.>
day 6 slept in. i love sleep.
day 7 went to a salon to get my hair washed, and get an upper-body massage, because the massage is free with the hair thing, and the hair thing is dirt cheap anyway.
day 8 journeyed to the great northeast, ie. dad's family. it's really cold up there. and dad's family is huge. not to mention money-crazy.
day 9 i spent the day chasing cats and feeding already-fed chicken, it was great. people kept trying to question me, which i hated, which was the reason i spent the day chasing cats and feeding chickens.
day 10 leaving the great northeast. yes! i tried to get a photo of that cat i was chasing around for the first 2 days, but my camera ran out of batteries, even though i had three sets.
day 11 i spent the day recouperating, mum spent the day sick.
day 12 beijing wind is... crazy. so crazy. the skin was blown off my face. literally, in some places. i bought a copy of cosmo. chinese cosmo is 20 yuan, which is approximately 3.5 australian dollars. it is also about 5 centimeters thick. the thing kept me occupied for two hours.
day 13 ikea is wonderful everywhere. as are foot massages.
day 14 xmas eve! shopping is so wonderful that i could weep with joy. but i won't, because i didn't actually buy anything. and they had jingle bells on a loop.
day 15/today merry xmas! i still can't believe i spent half the day running around the hospital trying to get grandma some prescribed medicine. it would be so much easier if everything was just concentrated in one place.
chinana is so crowded.

the omen is that you are all over the place and need to focus---the solution is--
(Anonymous) 2006-12-25 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)It's simple and uses sound.
It's called the HU and goes like this - HU like hue - HUUUUUUU.
The HU technique can be utilized to reduce anxiety, stop nightmares, insomnia, get centered, make better decisions and enhance intuitive abilities.
The HU retunes our body in the way one would tune a piano.
The HU Technique goes like this:
Sit quietly - eyes open or closed
Begin to sing the word HU (hue) like HUUUUUUUU
Breathe in deeply and say HU (silently or out loud) on the exhale.
Do this for 1-20 minutes.
You will feel better in no time…
How and Why does the "HU" actually work?
Well, it's simply a matter of Physics…
When we HU, we set-up and electro-magnetic field around ourselves that vibrates at a certain frequency.
Quantum physics states that everything in the universe vibrates at its own particular frequency, known as a quantum signature.
The negative emotions of "FEAR", Anger, sadness, depression and tension all vibrate at the lower end of the spectrum.
Let's say we place all emotions on a scale of
1_______________________________10.
The negative emotions cluster around 1 to 3 or lower end of the scale.
Neutrality is a 5 or the middle of the scale.
The emotions of joy, compassion, and love cluster around 7-10 or higher end of the scale.
Our electro-magnetic shield (aura) protects against negative emotional attacks.
This principle of quantum physics only applies when we are able to stay positive, neutral and loving in the face of an onslaught.
However, if we are frazzled, anxious or unhappy, this lowers our defenses and weakens our electro-magnetic shield, leaving us open to surrounding negative emotions.
So, here's where the HU comes in.
When we HU we immediately create a positive and strong force field that re-tunes our aura from the inside out.
This frequency adjustment protects us from negativity and radiates outwardly creating peace and harmony.
This is simply a matter of physics that we control within ourselves and our surrounding environment.
We can use the HU for protection against emotional contagion and to keep ourselves in a state of joy, love and serenity.
We become big Love balls (filled with love) and everyone around us feels it and responds with corresponding love.
The Universe is a "mirror"---it reflects back exactly what we put out!
This explains the phenomenon - when we feel great on certain days, the whole world smiles back at us.
It's no wonder - they are simply responding to the frequency of joy and happiness!
So - go ahead - be a love ball - just say HU…
Historically speaking...
HU is an ancient name for God.
The Oxford English Dictionary states, that the word "God" can be derived from the Sanskrit word "HU."
The Egyptian and Greek traditions of 5000 years ago talk about the use of the word HU as a reference to God.
Christian Gregorian Chant of 900A.D., Sufi Mystic Saints of Tibet, ancient practice of Daoism, Druid history approximately 4000 years ago and Kabbalah talk about the word HU as being the originating sound of the universe.
Modern day...
Eckankar, the Religion of the Light and Sound of God, uses HU as a form of Prayer.
The Dream Dudes just got a HU tattoo on National TV. (Go to - See us on TV page - to check it out)
The HU is the Dream Dudes favorite technique for all that troubles you.
Millions of people from all faiths and walks of life use the HU each day to have a smoother journey
