It is ALWAYS better to do an oral as soon as your can. First up is the best - you can make a complete fool of yourself and stumble/stutter and because you're the first person you get marked more leaneantly, as teachers know how much people hate to go first.
I was going to go practically first for my english oral, but I got a head cold the day before and I practically lost my voice. I couldn't hear what I was saying because my nose was so blocked, and I generally felt Icky. Thankgod I had such a gullible teacher... *grins*
I was going to volunteer to go first, but chickened out at the last minute.
Then of course I got picked to go first.
Meh.
I am actually not that worried now. I have a good enough speech/ slide that will earn me something along the lines of a B. I'm good with that. It's only Economics, and it's only formative. I've got a whole year left to get it right. :)
