because i haven't talked about uni in, oh wow, six entries

-Because I am anal like that, I calculated how well I needed to do on each exam to pass the subject. Management, proportionately speaking, actually had the best chance of getting me a 6, but after that exam, well, HA.

-87.7% on my last Journalism assignment. It's a good result, I'm really happy with it, but it meant that I'm about 1.3% off from a Distinction, overall.

-The hard part's over. Now I'm going to play lots of Fire Emblem and re-watch Scrubs and fit some study in between. >.>

-Re: last point. No I'm not. Well. I shouldn't.

In other news, Deadwood's pilot is really awesome and the box that it came in is so gorgeous I wish my future spouse would look like that.

I also finished reading Kafka on The Shore, and have mixed emotions about it. I don't really want to comment on the book just yet, so you guys should help me decide which book to read next.

Wicked is not good exam-time reading, as it's hard to put down, so you'll read it straight through and then move on to the next book (judging from my own experience).

Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrell is not good exam-time reading, as it's very very long and takes lots of time to read, but is good enough to make you want to spend your time on it rather than studying.

Your textbook is not good exam-time reading because you know you don't really want to read it even if it's interesting, because you're going to be assessed on it soon. And assessment can make even the most fascinating and fun material rather painful.

I agree with your assessment of textbook-reading.

I've had more experience of textbook-reading lately than I care to think about. That's why I'm sharing my enthusiasm!

I said textbook but I think it's just my concience talking to me.

I don't think I HAVE a text book for a course. Just lots of notes. Ik. I will lend you lots of shiny books when the exams are over :P

That icon is evil, Katrina. Not only because of the horrible things it suggests, but because every time I see it I have to keep watching it over and over...

I still love you, Jenni. But I have no book to rec to you and that option was just so inviting. XD;;

Well, no prizes for guessing which one I picked.

Also, in our common room, we have scrubs seasons 1 and 2. It's great before history-taking exams so maybe it'll be the same deal with your exams? :D
