Yeah, I must agree that reading that sort of thing written by a ten-year-old is a bit absurd.

Somehow this brings back memories of year 7, when one of the teachers called our whole grade into a classroom and said "most of you are not very good at flirting," at which point everyone had a pretty good laugh.
